Preston Park Boxing Day Races

The Brighton and Hove City AC Boxing Day races will be held again this year in Preston Park on 26th December. A great opportunity to burn off Christmas dinner, and enjoy a festive run out in the park.

There is an 8.8km walk starting at 10.30am, or the running race which starts at 10.50am.

The race entry is £2, but race Director Chris Carter has offered free entry to anybody who is registered with parkrun and takes along a printed parkrun result with their name on. Runners can choose how many laps they wish to run (one, two, three or four) with each lap being approximately 2k around Preston Park. The race has a fun and friendly atmosphere and fancy dress is optional.

Sussex Cross Country League - Plumpton College

The second round of the Sussex Cross Country league takes place on Saturday 22 November at Plumpton College. For directions please follow the link to the Plumpton College website.

All club members are eligible to run. The entry fee is £3.00 for Senior, U20 and Veterans and £2.00 for U13, U15 & U17s.

Evening Open Athletic Meeting

This year the Brighton & Hove City AC Open Meeting is being held on Wednesday 13th August at Withdean Stadium.

At this year's meeting, a £200 prize is on offer to any British athlete who breaks a Withdean Stadium ground record courtesy of Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club.
